Ryokan Ohto is conveniently located only a 10-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station and surrounded by famous temples and shrines. Among them are Tofuku-ji Temple which is famous for spring cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, Sanjusangen-do Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kodai-ji Temple, Chishaku-in Temple, and the national museum of modern art, Kyoto. At Toji Temple, "Kobo-ichi", whichi means a flea market, is held on the 21st at every month. Many open stalls line up inside the temple, selling commodities, antiques, and more.
