  • Treasure Exhibition
      - Where: Gango-ji Temple (just a 5-minutes walk from Ryokan Matsumae)
      - When: February 7 - 14, from 9:00 to17:00
      - What: Zen-shitsu Yogono-ma and Chiko mandara, national treasure usually not open to the public

      - Where: Denko-ji Temple (just a 10-minutes walk from Ryokan Matsumae)
      - When: March 10 - April 4, from 9:00 to16:00
      - What: Jizo Bosatsu statue (important cultural asset) and Nara camellia

  • Ume/Plum Blossom Festival
      - Where:
      Kataoka Umebayashi, about 300 plums around Marumado-tei in Nara Park
      Tsukigase Umebayashi, about 10,000 plums along Nabarigawa River.
