The best season for viewing Mount Fuji is coming!

While the shy Mount Fuji generally hides away behind clouds for the greatest part of the year, chances of catching more than just a glimpse drastically increase from autumn throughout winter. Not only does the visibility increase during the winter months, but one can also enjoy the sight of the mountain's beautiful white snow cap.
Motohakone is a highly recommended spot for viewing Mt. Fuji. Indeed, the landscape of the mountain over lake Ashinoko and the tori gate of Hakone Shrine is an incredible one. And, with the autumn-tinted leaves, Mt. Fuji's beauty stands out all the more.

Motohakone viewing spot is only a 10 minute walk away from our guesthouse. We eagerly await your visit!
