  • Fuji Hakone Guesthouse presents:

Let's enjoy Autumn leaves and Mount Fuji from the popular Kintoki-yama

From the end of October onward, the mountains of Hakone are slowly beginning to get their autumn foliage, with red colours at their peak between the start and middle of November. Many hikers come visit Hakone as it is the perfect spot to enjoy those autumn leaves along with great walks, hot springs and the scenery of Mount Fuji.

Made famous by the legend of Kintaro, Sengokuhara plateau's Kintoki-yama is a popular hiking course. From the top of the mountain, one can admire the astonishing view of Mount Fuji surrounded by a sea of bright red and orange leaves. At the summit, you can also enjoy a bowl of Kintoki Musume's famous soup.

The entrance to Kintoki-yama's hiking trail is located an approximate 5 minute drive away from the guesthouse. After the hike, be sure to take advantage of the guesthouse's milky hot spring to ease your tired limbs!!
