Our guest house is located just a 35 min drive to Chuson-ji Temple, newly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in June 2011 as a part of the "Historic Monuments and Sites of Hiraizumi". Geibikei, one of the most famous gorges in Tohoku Region and included in the 100 best sceneries in Japan, is a 7 min walking distance.
This guest house Yamaneko Yado is a traditional Japanese-style ryokan and all of our rooms are equipped with a private bathroom & toilet and filled with all of the amenities you need. Seasonal country-style meals using fresh ingredients locally grown are also available.
