A very large earthquake occurred on the Noto Peninsula (Ishikawa pref., Hokuriku area) on New Year’s Day in 2024.
Our group has four inns (ryokan) in Hokuriku.
- Daibutsu Ryokan at Takaoka, Toyama pref.
- Ryokan Yamamuro at Kanazawa, Ishikawa pref.
- Murataya Ryokan at Kanazawa, Ishikawa pref.
- Hotel Hinodeya at Kanazawa, Ishikawa pref.
These ryokans are located outside the Noto Peninsula (Kanazawa City and Takaoka City), so they were not damaged by the earthquake and are operating as usual.

However, as of today (28/01/2024) , sightseeing trips to the Noto Peninsula are not possible.
